2015 Running In Review

Wow what a year for me and running!  At age 59 I ran my first 1/2 marathon in March.  I was hooked!  Part of the reason I dared myself to run it was because I wanted to show myself and anyone who knew me that I could!

Registering as a “senior” was sort of a slap in the face but then I realized the fact that I’m not fast wouldn’t be as noticeable (or so I thought).

Then I ran my second 1/2 in Newport Oregon and my third in Raleigh, NC.   I think I’m obsessed, hooked, in deep, or maybe all three.

I started blogging because I wanted to share running and my life in Wyoming.  I wanted to ‘meet’ others who like to train, to run 1/2 marathons and still have fun.  I can’t get enough information about gear, training, food, nutrition and everything else that comes with this addiction.

So here’s to 2016 and all it will bring while I’m Running Myself Ragged.

  1. Hey there–way to go on your running goals this year! I’m still in walk mode…I don’t know if I’ll ever get there as far as running goes. Kudos to you!

Stopping by from the #MIMM link party. Have a great evening!
