What’s My Excuse This Time?

Missing in Action?  Kinda.    Lost in Space?  Probably.  AWOL ,  Nowhere to be found, disoriented and astray?

Maybe all of the above!  Anyway, I’m back, and ready to bring you up to date.  I have been doing a mixture of workouts.  I do not enjoy afternoon runs, so I needed to find something else I can do while I am working every day.  So, I am back to my ol’ buddy, Shaun T and Insanity.

Because we are trying to eat healthy, we are eating somewhere between Whole30 and Paleo.  Have you tried shopping on line at Thrive Market?   It’s a little like a combination between Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.  Neither of which we have in Wyoming.

It was also time to take the Doodles to the groomer.  They definitely needed some grooming.  Because they know I don’t like their faces shaved, Jake gets to come home with all his curls.  I’m not sure why the hair on his nose/face is blonde, we’ve never discussed getting it dyed.

Jake thought you needed a close-up.

Every get that weird feeling that someone is watching you?

When I opened my eyes this morning….

Then I got  up and peeked out the window.

Nope that’s not dirt on my lens, that’s snow flurries.  So a trip to Billings seemed to be in order.

As we left Sheridan, the weather looked somewhat dreary, don’t you think?

But the further we went, things definitely looked brighter.

I’m amazed that it’s October and some are getting their last hay cutting!  I’m glad though, because it means more hay bale pictures.

Patient Husband taking the dogs out for a brief run mid-trip.

I took this as we arrived home.  As you can see there is a lot of confusion as to what season we are in.  Fall colors?  Snow on the ground?

Just a small turn and we could see the storm clouds approaching fast.

She has written a couple of books.  I think I may see if I can find them.  Has anyone ever read them?    Let me know.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  I have two close friends, Nina and Teri, who are fighting this fight right now.  Please get a check up,  and then donate to the Cancer Society or do whatever you can to support this fight.
Its a 3-day weekend for me.  I hope it is for you.  I am so excited about sleeping in again!  Actually it doesn’t matter what time I get up.  It’s the idea that I can shuffle out to the kitchen in my ‘comfy’ clothes!
Have a great Monday no matter what!
One Step at a time,
I don’t think inside the box.  I don’t think outside the box.  There are days when I can’t find the box.
