Good Moments, Proud Moments, Delay, Delay, Delay,

Hello!  I have some catching up to do!  Wednesday morning I woke up with a sore throat and exhausted so I had to back out of the morning run.  I have to admit to roll over for another hour felt great.  We had another full day of training, but when the day was over the girls decided we wanted to walk the streets of Alexandria instead of going to dinner.  I think I better re-word that.   We decided to go shopping and sightseeing. (I really don’t want to give you the wrong idea).

I just love this little town – so picturesque with the waterfront, the brownstones, and the shops.

I fell asleep at 8pm and didn’t get up until it was time to go running.   Off we went for another 5-1/2 miles, taking a slightly different route.  Another waterfront picture:

We crossed over the Wilson Bridge, which Phyllis explained connected Virginia to Maryland.  This was at approximately 5:30 a.m. – very busy and very loud!

At the top of the bridge, we saw this:

And when we headed back to the hotel we were welcomed back to Virginia.

The class continued with its usual fascinating subjects and we were done at noon.  I have kept you in suspense this whole week.  Maybe I was afraid I wouldn’t graduate!  I am now officially, wait for it…….

I am so proud to be a part of this organization.

I made so many friends in just 4 days and we all hugged good-bye when it was time for us to go home to all parts of the United States.

I landed in Denver with the information that we were 30 minutes late and then found out my connecting flight is delayed and I have a five hour layover.  So what do I do with that information?  EAT of course!

I had to leave that picture full size so you could get the full effect.  Yes, it is that humongous.  Wolfgang Puck outdid himself.  And so did I.

So I am settled in at the boarding gate with my cup of coffee.  The current time of arrival at my airport is 12:30 so I should be getting home …oh around 2:45 a.m.

I hope you are a little more comfortable and not being hit by these storms.  Its almost the weekend!
