I hope none of you were a victim of an April fool’s joke. We thought we were at work – NO internet – but that was no joke!
When I got home we had some workers at the house so I was kinda stuck here waiting for them to be done. Actually I was so sleepy I just wanted to curl up and go to sleep but they might have thought that was somewhat odd… (they don’t know me so they don’t know how odd…)
You HAVE felt like this, right?
Today was a rest day on my training schedule – so I wanted to take full advantage of it.
Riding into town later, I saw that it’s THAT time of the year. So funny to watch these guys strutting around. Most of the girls seem pretty unimpressed. (yea we’ve seen that before…..)
Patient Husband sat on the couch to watch t.v. with me which is very unusual because he works nights so I am on my own in the evenings – plus he does not understand my attachment to the machine. I mean…. doesn’t everyone turn on the t.v. as soon as you enter the house even if you aren’t watching it??
an hour, a few minutes, a few seconds , he was breathing loudly (he says he doesn’t snore) and I was able to catch up with all my dvr’d shows. (Grey’s Anatomy, Shades of Blue, The Mentalist, etc.) No Friday nights out for this girl. On the couch, super soft throw around me, dogs at my feet, pot of coffee, computer, ipad, and I’m in my Happy Place!
Today (Saturday) is supposed to be in the high 60’s so I must get outside and enjoy. I hope you are doing the same.
How do you get to your happy place?
Do you have shows that you DVR every week?
What’s your comfort drink/food?
Yes, I am back on my REAL coffee
