Well I’ve had some busy days. Saturday night I wasn’t sure when I’d be able to run for a bit so I did two miles on the treadmill. I went to bed as early as I could because my alarm was set for 2:45 a.m. I left my house at 3:30 for my 2 hour drive to the airport.
Everything went well and I arrived in Washington DC just after 3pm. Then the unthinkable happened – my phone didn’t work. I wasn’t sure how to act. When I made a call no one could hear me! I didn’t know if I’d survive the trauma.
But I actually made it to the hotel shuttle and on to the hotel. Then I had a terrible time making a decision about the complimentary robes. Zebra? or Leopard??
A day of training with 19 other retired cops = a day of fun. Afterwards, I took a short walk down Old Town Alexandria. What a cool place.
I had to cut it short so I could make it to the Apple store. The phone is fixed – my life is back to normal. Well as normal as my life can be.
In my room I checked out the fridge. The normal stuff they can charge 10x the normal price.
But then look what they added:
I’m running with some other women in the class tomorrow morning at 5:30. So another early day is ahead of me.
Have a great day,
