I have been doing everything on my to-do list that my foot doctor gave me. Plantar Fasciitis might be a common problem for runners but I am not happy about it. My list consists of: rolling my foot on a frozen water bottle, stretching exercises twice a day, and anti-inflammatories. When my orthotics are ready, I’ll be wearing those. Yesterday, I was pain free! The shot in my heel really worked. Then today – pain again. I’m not sure why but hopefully there won’t be pain tomorrow.
After work today, I was able to get outside and enjoy the nice weather. Whenever I take the dogs outside, they must first check the perimeter.
Then we (actually they) chased and retrieved tennis balls until I became bored. Luckily some paragliders flew over head and gave me something peaceful to watch while drinking my coffee.
Actually he might have been watching me!
What?? I believe Durango is begging me to start some training and make him run around in circles until he is completely out of breath. Yep, I’m sure that’s what he is thinking.
I couldn’t turn down an invitation like that. After working with him for a while, I also worked with Banjo. Banjo had some attitude. If I can’t run, I might as well make others run.
As I was closing up the barn, Murray seemed a little uppity.
He loves being so close to the rafters.
Now we are all gathered together for a quiet evening.
My pets are quite the cuddlers.
But this is kinda ridiculous.
I hope you have someone or something to cuddle with tonight. Its a great way to finish off the day.
Have you ever suffered from Plantar Fasciitis? How quick/slow was your recovery?
Have you ever had a race you couldn’t enter because of an injury?
What do you do when you can’t walk/run/jump ?
