Sunday Shows and Halloween Memories

Sunday was a quiet day here.  I binge-watched some series’ on Netflix.  First was Goliath (with Billy Bob Thornton) .  I watched the whole first season.  Then I started watching The Killing.

How has your week started out?  I have lived out in the country for the last 20-some years, so I never get the fun of trick-or-treaters.  I dug out some old photos of my kids at halloween.  Back in the day, I was creative and could sew.  What happened to me?

So in the spirit of the holiday, I decided to be a devil (already you can see the creativity).  To complete this costume I put on a black sweater and some glow-in-the-dark horns.  Unfortunately one of the horns had to be held on.  I took the picture in the dark so that you could appreciate the full affect.

Just wait till next year.

Today’s forecast was “blustery”.   Blustery was defined as windy with gusts between 40 and 50 mph.   Yep that’ll do it.  So for lack of anything better to do, it was decided that a trip to Costco would be fun or at least a change of scenery.

We took our time shopping and even picked up a few items for Christmas gifts.  Unfortunately there just wasn’t enough food samples for me so we had to stop for dinner before leaving Billings.  We sat down in our booth and saw this:

Does this mean we are supposed to remove our shoes?   The waitress never said anything but I just didn’t like the way she made a face at my socks…

Tuesday I head back to physical therapy and I’m really hoping I’ll hear from the foot doctor……   Keep your fingers crossed.

Had to share this with you. You know its time to back off the wine when…….

One step at a time,

Anne

Did you dress up this Halloween?  If so, as what?

Do you partake of the free samples of food at Costco?
–   Yes, unless they are gross looking.
