This morning we were up at at it early. Jake had an appointment that no male likes to think about. Thank goodness he had no idea. When he arrives at the vet everyone knows him by now and calls out hello to him.
I’m not sure if he appreciated the sunrise.
After dropping him off, I headed to P.T. Today’s workout was an hour and a half! The good news is he actually said I might be able to train for a summer race! Yahoo! He said we have to wait for my next appointment with the Doctor before we can really increase the workouts, but I’m excited at the prospect.
Back up to Sunday. When PH was opening his birthday present, do you think he noticed that I re-used a Christmas box?
Because my foot surgeon recommended that I now use a new type of running shoe – A Hoka, I feel the need to get rid of my many pairs of running shoes I have already collected. I have 3 pairs I’m selling because they are barely used and somehow I don’t feel as guilty when I buy new ones. And it makes room on the shelves…..
Jake was able to come home this afternoon. I haven’t heard him bark yet, so I don’t know how high-pitched his voice is now. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, he’ll have a whole new attitude.
Late this afternoon the fog started rolling in and looked very strange.
It’s in the negative temps again tonight and lightly snowing. I think we are supposed to get another 2-3 inches. The good news is we have a movie to watch – Deepwater Horizon, and no reason to set an alarm in the morning.
I hope you are having a good middle of the week. Stay warm and safe on the roads. And if you are running – I’m proud of you.
One step at a time,
