Weekend White-out and Work-out

This is how our road looked last night.  In town, there wasn’t any snow to be found!  The hell   fun of living on the side of a mountain.

When I work on Saturday mornings, its an early start.  But due to the icy roads and down to one car, I had to ask a neighbor for a ride into work.  I have great neighbors.  Thank you Craig!

I want to share the absolute easiest Crockpot recipe ever!   Shredded chicken.  Once you make this, you can use it for tacos, with barbeque sauce, and on and on.   So all you do is put several boneless, skinless chicken breasts (I use 4) in the crockpot.  Add about 2 cups chicken broth and put on low.  After about 8 hours , just take 2 forks and shred the chicken.  So moist!   Enjoy.

The pups and I played outside a lot today.  They absolutely love the snow.  Its good somebody does.  It makes the pups very tired.  If Jake isn’t cuddled with Luna, he’s with Gus.

Last night, both cats were in the bed and allowed me a small amount of space.

This is what I have to face when I tell Gus he must stay on the hard floor.

Before supper I did an insanity workout.  I haven’t done it in a long time and I forgot how hard it is!!    That could possibly be why I haven’t done it in a long time.

Anyway, its called  Insanity Max Interval Sports Training.
This workout  is completely different from all of the other Insanity workouts – it is one of the longer Insanity workouts at about 55 minutes.  ShaunT includes lots of jumping (basketball) and exercises for boxing, football, gymnastics, and track (sprints and even long jumps).

I really don’t want this to become a weather blog, but please have pity on me when you see this week’s forecast.  It’s almost APRIL for God’s sake.

-Tomorrow (Sunday)  is forecast to be Much Warmer than today.  Well Halelujah!
Monday night (3/28):          3 to 5 inches of snow expected.

Tuesday night (3/29):         3 to 5 inches of snow expected.

Wednesday night (3/30):   Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

Thursday (3/31):                    Quite windy. Snowfall around one inch.

Anyone that lives near the beach need a running buddy?

Maybe I should dream the white stuff out there is sand and that noise couldn’t be wind it must be the waves…….

Haven’t we all felt like this at some time?

Hope you’re having a great Easter weekend.
