Good Times on the Coast
So many things going on, appointments on the calendar, and to-do lists piling up. Thank goodness we are retired or I have no idea how we would ever get things done!
I've been faithful to my running schedule thank goodness. My longest so far has been 10 miles and I have a 12 miler coming up next week. My last long run took me over the bridge. I can't get used to the beautiful scenery here. The blues!
I have to admit, not all runs are easy-peasy. This is a selfie I took on one run.
And I was sure this mileage sign was correct - not my GPS.
When I get done running, I barely am allowed room to relax.
But at least I have some private moments in the bathroom....or not.
But today, I finally got out on the beach for a run. Something I have not done in quite a while.
School is out now here in Oregon. This looks like it was a fun graduation party.
My day with Finn always starts with his breakfast. Today's hit was jelly toast.
Then a long walk to the Bayfront and back. No one looks cooler....
There is so much to see. Sea lions,
And so many benches in so many colors. First, say the color and then climb up on each one.
I think he is trying to decide if this bench is better than the last.... or Are my shoes on the right feet..... or how come my legs are so short....
Daddy took him to see if he could pass the Fireman's driving test. 1) Will they let me keep the pacifier? 2). I don't think my arms reach the steering wheel.
Anyone else get confused when you hear about 5K's, 10K's, etc?
And this is so true ...... sad, but true.
Now go out there and make it a good week. It's totally up to you.
One step at a time,
